I draw your attention to the attached financial analysis that I have just prepared, which shows serious problems of which I just became aware when OASIS provided specific expenditure and revenue data a couple of weeks ago. There are four tables – the first is our spending plan for the year. The second is an analysis of our year to date expenditures. The third is a suggested budget revision that has us coming out roughly where we planned at the beginning of the year in terms of expenditures. It assumes that there has been some mistake in charging us for $1800 in bad debts. However, the fourth set of projections is the troublesome one – which suggests that we will have to cut back our expenditures for 2006 by at least 50% to avoid ending 2006 with a zero balance. Our revenue for this year has been half of what we projected -- $20,000 rather than $40,000. I have asked and Cathy Mayo for an explanation. I am attaching two additional documents – my analysis on which we based this year’s spending plan and the second quarter financials that we received from OASIS. I hope that one of you can make more sense of the situation than I can, and find a basis for being more optimistic.
