The Integrated Justice TC intends to complete the task of issuing Methodology, Naming & Design Rules (MNDR) for the current GJXDM model this Spring.  The TC had assumed that a new NIEM model would have been published at this time and was planning on issuing a MNDR document for NIEM.  Given that the NIEM model is not yet available for TC member review, the TC has determined that it would be appropriate to issue the current GJXDM MNDR for members to use with GJXDM based implementations. Next week, references will be added into the GJXDM MNDR draft and a ballot will be created requesting that the TC members adopt it as a "Committee Recommendation”.  The Committee expects to begin review of the NIEM model as soon as it is made available.  The TC will review the impact of changes on the GJXDM MNDR and propose changes to both the NIEM model and the MNDR as appropriate. Based on the TC’s desire to continue its work, the TC has voted and approved a “Request for a Transition Approval Ballot” to conform to the OASIS IPR Policy.  The TC is requesting an extension of the OASIS cut-off date for transition to the “final” approved IPR policy.  The extention will facilitate the committee members ability to continue to focus on work of value to its members and the Justice community.
