I think this is an important feature to consider in order to resolve the overlapping subs problems - especially with the introduction of Shared Subs. See https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/MQTT-217

I see the main utility of this is to attach the matching subscription IDs to the publishes sent by the server. I think using the IDs in the unsubscribe can be considered, but not a key part of this, so sticking with using the topic-filter in unsub would be okay.
