David commented "It looks as if the formula takes no account of any interest / coupons paid, merely the discount at which it is sold." and indeed neither Settlement nor Maturity are part of the formula, instead there is a B/A factor. Which is what? And how would some year calculation go into that formula?

Could someone come up with the correct formula, please?
