Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (OFFICE-2399) Should requirements onPI? - too vague?
Should requirements on PI? - too vague?
---------------------------------------
Key: OFFICE-2399
URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2399
Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC
Issue Type: Bug
Components: OpenFormula
Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 Part 2 CD 2
Reporter: Patrick Durusau
Priority: Minor
What reads like requirements for Evaluators on PI sounds vague to me:
"Evaluators are not required to represent pi exactly , but they should make an attempt to give an accurate result given their numerical representation method. Evaluators which use a fixed-length numerical representation should use the closest possible numerical representation."
I don't think either of these represent meaningful statements. Suggest delete.
