[Meeting Minutes] 3.0 WSDL Spec review special meeting 1/28/2005

What: Finish review of WSDL files

Thanks to all that attended this special meeting. We started and 
finished reviewing the WSDL.

The following comments were logged:

    * Farrukh: We need to approve WSRP TN and Registry Tutorial TN and
      publish these and "Web Service Publishing" TN prominently off our
      main TC public page by the time 3.0 is submitted to OASIS Approval
      vote.
    * Farrukh: NotificationListener*.wsdl need to be updated to reflect
      simplifications in Notification model within RIM Event Information
      Model. Farrukh: Will fix in draft 02.
    * Carl: Make sure WSDL is validated using WS-I WSDL validator before
      publishing next version. Farrukh agreed.

Please note that all comments on registry WSDL and anything else related 
to review of draft 01 are due by COB today.
Draft 02 will be published early next week and will address all comments 
from review of draft 01.

The following proposed time line was discussed for remainder of spec 
process for 3.0 and will be discussed in next weeks TC meeting. Note 
this needs to be verified against OASIS processes.

    * Voice vote on whether to start TC Approval vote on draft 02. Feb
      3, 2005
    * Conclusion of TC approval electronic vote on draft 02. If YES then
      this is when we have TC Approved 3.0 specs. Feb 10, 2005
    * Voice vote on whether to start electronic vote on submitting TC
      Approved 3.0 spec for OASIS public review. Feb 10, 2005
    * Conclusion of "submitting TC Approved 3.0 spec for OASIS public
      review"  electronic vote. Feb 17, 2005
    * Beginning of 4 week public review. March 1, 2005
    * End of 4 week public review. March 29, 2005
    * Beginning of OASIS Approval vote. April 1, 2005
    * Conclusion of OASIS Approval vote. April 15, 2005

So if all goes well we are looking at 3.0 becoming an OASIS standard 
around mid April (tax day in US :-) )
