@Shitao, to be clear, when the assignee is also the reporter of the issue, then you do not necessarily have to be the person who provides a candidate solution (although that is preferred). However, the TC depends upon you to ensure the JIRA issue is kept up to date, that important non-official ad hoc group decisions are recorded, and that when this issue is resolved, closed, or tabled that  you notify the co-chairs so that the TC can quickly review and validate the action.
