1. Welcome from Team Leader (Marion) and appointment of Secretary (Lisa)to
take minutes.

2. Selection of Back-up Team Leader:

 Lisa Seaburg and Bill Meadows have volunteered to be back up.
  Bill will do organization, Lisa will be in the middle of everything.


3. Establishing Package Hierarchy

This release was first supposed to be 0p90, but, Chee-Kai remembers from
Tuesdays call that this release could be named for the 1.0 version.

AI:  Marion will send email to list to clarify.

5. Naming Conventions

 How should we name the release?    "UBLv1_alpha"

 Naming of stuff under each directory is the responsibility of the branch
owners.
 AI: Timeframe for branch owners to submit a proposed naming convention for
their branch. (2 weeks)


6. Review of 1.0 alpha Schedule

 Release Date:  1.0 final to OASIS by February 2004

 1.0_alpha draft models by August 31, 2003.
  this includes draft models, spreadsheets.
  TBG17 submission

  There is an issue between the draft 7 and 8, getting them insync.

 September finalize 1.0 alpha draft models and produce schema
  Finalize the models and produce schema - Internal QA and review

  Once we get the spreadsheets and models in sync, Chee-Kai is saying he
needs time to work with this to output the schema.

  9/1 - 9/15: first half of month finalize spreadsheets and models

  9/16 - 9/31: second half of month to output test schema.

 ***October - documentation, sample instances, forms

 Publish 1.0_alpha committee Spec to the World???

 November - January: Extention methodology and trial implementations for 1.0

Halloween Release - (release to be Oct 31 Friday)
