PRD3

 - Status

   We've just received a fresh set of schemas:

 - Truncation issues

   TO CHANGE in cbc:

      TimingComplaintCodeCode and TimingComplaintCodeCodeType
      (CodeCode -> Code)

      DirectionCodeDirectionCode and DirectionCodeDirectionCodeType
      TransitDirectionCodeDirectionCode and TransitDirectionCodeDirectionCodeType
      (DirectionCodeDirectionCode -> DirectionCode)

   TO CHANGE in maindoc: cardinality of UBLVersionID (should be
   min 0 and max 1); this is OK in the latest xsdrt schemas but
   not the xsd schemas, which apparently came from an earlier
   compilation

   NO CHANGE: CV2 and UNDG (confirming that these are indeed in
   the normative abbreviations list)

   TO CHANGE in the spreadsheets and therefore the schemas:

      Goods Item. Quantity. Numeric -> Goods Item. Quantity. Quantity
      Status. Percent. Numeric -> Status. Percent. Percent

   NO CHANGE: Maximum_ Copies. Numeric

   Conclusion: The DEN and UBLname appear to be OK (so no effect
   on the schemas), but the definition of ID under Signature needs
   to be reviewed for correctness.

   We noted that not all the copy edits made by JB 19-20 August
   got reviewed in the PSC and TSC. (!!!)

   ACTION: PSC and TSC to review the copy edits to the
   spreadsheets while PRD3 is out for public review:

   Note that these edits were accompanied by diff files showing
   exactly the changes needing review.

 - qDT schema issue

   SW: MG is correct, but the restrictions need to be reflected in
   the spreadsheets.  NormalizedString appears to be coming from
   ATG2. All the qDTs need to be reviewed for compliance with the
   NDRs.

   AGREED that the qDT spreadsheet needs to be corrected to comply
   with the NDRs (per MG); there may need to be one restricted
   element in every data type.

   ACTION: SW to make changes to the qDT spreadsheet; DavidK to
   review to make sure that normalizedString is correct, then
   generate a new schema module.

 - Proposed changes to CommonExtensionComponents

   SW: CommonExtensionComponents does not derive from CCTS and
   therefore should not be in the same module as the
   CCTS-compliant elements.

   GKH: CBC does not import or contain CommonExtensionComponents;
   rather, CommonExtensionComponents uses some cbc elements.  See
   message [above].  This is not circular.

   JB: If not circular, this should be OK.

   SW: There could be a problem in how we create cbc.  I need to
   talk to DavidK about this.

   JB: If there's no technical issue, we're going to have to leave
   it the way it is.

FURTHER PRD3 COORDINATION

   AGREED to block out 15:00 New York time Thursday and Friday
   (2006.09.07-08) for possible PRD3 coordination calls.  JB will
   send a notice by 09:00 New York time each day if it appears
   that a meeting will be necessary.

   ACTION: UBL TC to review the action items on the issues list to
   make sure everything has been done OK:

TBG1/UBL ACTIVITY

   We reviewed the following:

   AGREED that we approve of the proposed plan in principle,
   recognizing that the schedule represents the desires of both
   groups but is heavily dependent on the work of other groups in
   UN/CEFACT.

ACTION ITEM REVIEW

   ACTION: AS and TM to confirm Singapore meeting dates in next
   week's TSC call.

      Pending.

   ACTION: JB and AS to seek a host for the 5-9 March 2007 UBL TC
   meeting in Washington.

      Pending.

   ACTION regarding the UBL TC meeting scheduled for May/June
   2006:

      JB: Note in particular that flights into ITH (a regional
      airport that usually requires a stop in Philadelphia) are
      more expensive than direct flights into JFK and could also
      take a lot longer, depending on the connection.  Everyone
      thinking of attending this meeting should spend some time
      this week comparing itineraries before we make a final
      decision.
