Minutes of Atlantic UBL TC call 24 February 2010 MINUTES OF ATLANTIC UBL TC MEETING WEDNESDAY 24 FEBRUARY 2010 ATTENDANCE Kenneth Bengtsson Jon Bosak (chair) Tony Coates Mavis Cournane & Winter Tim McGrath (vice chair) Andy Schoka PHONE CONFERENCE TEST The phone test announced in email before the meeting turned out to be unnecessary. We will continue to use the usual conference bridge through the generous support of Document Engineering Services. STANDING ITEMS Additions to the calendar: http://ubl.xml.org/events None. Review of Pacific call minutes No comments. SCHEDULE REVIEW See http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl/201002/msg00016.html TSC AS: Reached closure on outstanding issues. A final few fine-tuning operations will be completed this week and confirmed in email. ACTION: TM to consult with PLB to confirm that TSC changes cause no problems. PSC TM: Similar to TSC; a couple of tweaks are in process, which Arianna will complete tomorrow, so expect completion this weekend. Note that spreadsheets are not being used as the inputs to eDoCreator now; all the remaining changes (cardinality, spelling, etc.) are being done by working directly with the tool. Spreadsheets generated by the tool will remain normative documentation for the data model. Martin and Audun have discovered it to be easy to import these spreadsheets into Enterprise Architect for UML modeling. CODE LIST IDENTIFICATION AS: Discussed this in the TSC meeting and concluded that there are a few code lists that may be unique to implementations. There is one (party role) that must be discussed with PSC. There will probably be one or two for generic templates and another one or two from CEFACT or industry; we are still trying to identify these. TM: PSC is also finding that there will not be that many new code lists. There may be a few for the "special-purpose" category. JB: How about the lists in 2.0? AS: Some have been revised, e.g., one of the transport lists, and Units of Measure. ACTION: TM to send TonyC a list of pointers to current UNECE recommendations together with a list of the genericode types referenced by UBL; TonyC to review and identify changes. DOCUMENTATION JB: Concerned that we won't be able to put the documentation together on time if the pieces all come in at the last minute. ACTION: TM to contact Martin and Audun to get diagrams for delivery by next week's call. ACTION: TM to work on getting prose drafts together and perform first pass on edit. MEMBER AVAILABILITY TM will be unable to call in for the next three weeks, so will send progress reports to JB in advance of each meeting instead. MC will be unavailable in meetings for the next three weeks but will contact MG offline to begin work on the NDR items.
