UBL 2.1 PRODUCTION

    GKH has delivered what we consider to be the schemas and other
    materials for PRD1. See

UBL 2.1 DOCUMENTATION

    Much of the previous list of edits has been dealt with, but
    extensive editing lies ahead for incorporation of a new chapter
    on our XAdES extension, explanation of revised figures showing
    schema dependencies, replacement of the UBL diagrams by
    generated HTML files from the Crane contribution, and inclusion
    of a RelaxNG version of the schemas in a new appendix that will
    include the ASN.1 files.  It will take at least another week to
    produce a review draft of the documentation.

    Changes to the XAdES document resulting from recent reworking
    of the dsig extension will require revisions too extensive to
    include the document in PRD1, so finishing that is an action
    item for the interval between PRD1 and PRD2.  Separate
    publication of the draft can be considered a plus in that it
    provides an opportunity for a separate announcement
    highlighting the work of the Security SC and the importance of
    this new capability in enabling UBL documents to replace
    paper documents.
