Take I-90 East (O'Hare Expressway) to I-90 East (Kennedy). I-90 merges with I-94 to form I-90/94. Follow I-90/94 toward downtown (do not get into downtown express lanes). Exit I-90/94 at Ohio Street (exit is on the right) and travel east (you can only travel east, One Way). Follow Ohio St. to State St and go south (right turn) approximately four blocks to One IBM Plaza. A parking garage is located north of the Plaza at Kinzie St. Parking rates are approximately $14/day. Travel time is approximately 1 hr. Returning to the Airport, drive North on State St to Ontario, turn left -- it will feed into the northbound I-90-94 expressway. Follow signs to O'Hare/Rockford. 

From Midway Airport 

Taxi fare is metered, cost is approximately $25. 
Driving: 
Take Cicero Avenue north to I-55. Follow I-55 to Lake Shore Drive north, and continue to Grand Ave. Exit on Grand and head west to State Street (approximately 3 blocks). Turn left (south) on State Street and go south (left turn) approximately two blocks to One IBM Plaza. A parking garage is located north of the Plaza at Kinzie St. Parking rates are approximately $14/day. Travel time is approximately 1 hr. Returning, just reverse your directions. Lake Shore Drive South (Rt 41) has an exit ramp to I-55 just South of the McCormick Place convention complex. Stay in the right lane.

From O'Hare, Airport Express Bus leaves every 10 minutes from 6:00 am to 11:30 pm. Tickets are available at the Baggage Claims Areas in Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Cost is $17.50 one way, $31.00 round trip. Stops at all major downtown hotels. Lenox Suites Hotel is the closest to One IBM Plaza. 

From Midway, Airport Express Bus leaves every 15 mins from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm. Tickets are available at the Baggage Claim Area at Southwest Airlines. Cost is $12.50 one way, $23.00 round trip. Stops at all major downtown hotels. Lenox Suites Hotel is the closest to One IBM Plaza. 

By Train from Midway - CTA Orange Line 

The train runs every eight minutes. For cost, call (312) 836-7000. Exact fare in single dollars is required for the automat machines if there is no attendant on duty. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes. Exit at State Street and Lake; at street level, walk North, cross the Chicago River bridge to IBM Plaza. CTA information is 312-836-7000. 

By Train from O'Hare - CTA Blue Line 

The train runs 15 - 20 minutes during the day/evening, and runs 30 - 60 minutes between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. For cost, call (312) 836-7000. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes. Exact fare in single dollars is required for the automat machines if there is no attendant on duty. Located within the airport under the Hilton Hotel between Terminals 2 and 3. Exit at the Clark Street/Thompson Center Station downtown. At street level, find Clark St and Lake Ave (overhead train line), walk North to Wacker Dr, then East along the river to State St. Cross the bridge to IBM Plaza. CTA information is 312-836-7000.
