Here is a version of the spec with most of the 
editing changes applied
 
1. In section 7.1 I included just Polar's text from 
message http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xacml/200210/msg00101.html Should 
Anne's text also be included?
 
2. I could not find text for sections:
7.4.2 Attributes, 
7.4.2.1 Attributes Retrieval
7.4.2.2 Missing Attributes.
 
3. ISSUE: DataType attribute representation in the 
AttributeDesignator, AttributeSelector, etc
Current schema defines DataType attribute to of 
type xs:anyURI.
Then correct data-type decl would be: (same for 
section B4)
DataType="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string"
For 
xacml types:
DataType="urn:oasis-open:tc:names:xacml:1.0:datatype:x500name"
 
If 
DataType is QName, then DataType="xsi:string"
For 
xacml types: DataType="xacmldt:X500name"
where 
xacmldt="urn:oasis:names:tc:xacml:1.0:datatype"
 
It 
seems to me, that QName is more common representation for the 
DataType.
 
DataType 
attribute is required. Is it better optional like Anne 
suggested?
