Technical Status Update
Duane
- Wiki update at http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xspa/RSA%202010%Interop
- Wiki updated to include service requestor attributes, both
demonstrated, and finally ratified in Oasis XSPA SAML Standard
- Wiki working on service provider attributes, again both demonstrated,
and those ratified in Oasis XSPA XACML Standard
- Duane noted that some/most attributes defined were dynamic in nature,
determined by users actions within application. Such as purposeofuse,
functional role, etc.
- ASU Testbed VMSlices are installed and running awaiting necessary
ports to be opened and exposed to net.
Jiandong - Sun Microsystems
- Gave an overview of the how the use of dialect and claimtype for each
exposed service may meet our demonstration needs.
- How those claims may receive their values either dynamically or
statically through our LDAP interfaces.
- Jiandong will update the wiki initially to define these within the
Interop Attribute sections.
Duane
- Provides a quick gotomeeting demo to discuss how the request/response
messages were displayed in GUI for both service requestor and provider.
Jiandong noted that Sun's implementation would be able to provide
similar if not same functionality.
Duane
- Ask for any version requirements fro Metro, OpenSSO, and Glassfish
- Jiandong noted only Metro would need to be updated to 2.0. And that
if we migrated VMSlices to include Glassfish v3.0 it would already
support this version.
Action Items
Duane & Jiandong: will work to produces first working version of
WS-Trust profile within our testbed at ASU.
Duane will complete update of wiki attributes for service provider.
Jiandong will update wiki with WS-Trust claims and dialect for each
service requestor/provider attribute where applicable.
Thanks,
Duane
