I haven't tried it, but my *guess* is that if someone tried to implement
XML-Data they would find it is more a repository for interesting ideas
than a finished, implementable spec. When last I looked at it there were
some things tht I considered to be holes. Some things seemed specified by
example rather than by specification, for example.

Of course none of that is a criticism. It's a NOTE, not a REC.
