Dan Brickley just wrote, regarding RDF:
-------------------------------
The only other potential stumbling block is namespace prefixing:
RDF uses namespaces, so an RDF-friendly syntax would hopefully do
likewise. So a concrete question to ask might be: do we agree that it's
acceptable to spend those extra bytes namespace-prefixing the elements and
attributes in an XSchema document?

I feel that XSchema should have its own namespace, that its DTD should
embed a namespace qualifier in element type names and that when and if it
has an "import" mechanism other than general entities, that mechanism
should support automatic namespace remapping (e.g. your foo:bar could be
called baz:bar in my document).
-------------------------------
I propose XSC for the namespace prefix, unless someone knows of a conflict or
thinks three letters is too many.
We also need a URI for the declaration. 'members.aol.com', the current site
for the XSchema info, is probably not appropriate. I also have simonstl.com,
and three ISBNs, but I don't think we should tie this to my identifiers.
