It is going to be *very* important in forthcoming discussion that we make
it clear when we are talking about the XSchema document or the document
instance. This duality will come up throughout the process. Here we are
talking about the root element *of the XSchema when represented as XML*.
There has to be one, or it's not valid XML. <XSC:XSchema> seems a
reasonable name :-)
