I haven't read this in detail, but support the idea. I had to write some
catalog software before XML and found it remarkable that SGML could have so
many different syntaxes for a single language:
- declaration
- DTD
- catalog
- document instance
and
- stylesheet (though this wasn't standardised anyway).
If we can reduce the syntax to one, great.
