I'm writing a chapter (yes, a full chapter, though a short one) on
whitespace handling in XML. While not as complicated or controversial as
namespaces, whitespace handling has some intriguing features of its own.
If anyone has particular concerns about whitespace or has found something
in the spec that feels like a neat trick or possible problem, please let me
know privately.
So far, I'm covering:
Whitespace in declarations
Whitespace in element content
Whitespace in mixed content
End-of-Line Handing
Ways to sneak in #xD
xml:space
Implications for applications and stylesheets
Thanks!
