Hi all,
I am investigating a project requirement of handling inter-business
transactions at the rate of 5000/min with processing time of < 2 secs.
The process time would involve XML parsing and some local database
select. I would like to use XML over some type of transport ( HTTP i
guess ) with Java.

My question is what can i do to ensure that the XML parsing is as fast as
possible? I guess that some of the areas to be addressed are:
 1) Using SAX
 2) Using attribute's instead of nodes.

What other areas should i investigate? Any help is appreciated.

adios

 -lucio
