  By the way -- is it just me, or are other folk getting
  both duplicate messages and substantially delayed ones
  from the xml-dev list??  For example, the message to
  which Chris' note responded hasn't shown up here yet,
  neither has a note from Tim Bray that I've seen, nor
  one I posted this morning.
