Take a look the W3C site on style sheets [http://www.w3.org/Style/]. There
is a (short) article [http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS-vs-XSL] dealing with your
question, but much other info as well.

| Subject: relation between CSS & XSL
|
|
|
| Can someone give me a top level differences between
| CSS and XSL? I know the CSS3 is under development,
| which will include number of new features (user
| interface enhancements, SVG, behavioral extensions,
| etc.). And the XSL consists of XSLT and vocabulary
| for specifying formatting semantics. But is there
| any relationship between the two?
|
| Any advice/pointer would be greatly appreciated.
|
| Best regards,
