John, what if it is the processing model that defines the
data representation, in effect, the means of declarartion?
VRML is an application language that from the inception was
targeted to object-oriented implementation. Is the XML
system of a root based, positional hierarchy with attributes the right
way to express a node based definition in which hierarchies
are expressed as field types? The crux is wrapper tags
to name fields such that the hierarchy is rootless.
