Hi,

I downloaded the XML4J Early Access 3.0 XML parser.  I am able to use it also. I downloaded the XALAN - XSL processor, and the manual asked me to have the xalan.jar of Xalan and the  xerces, jar and xml4j.jar of xml4j into my classpath.

Yet all the solved examples of Xalan fail to run ( they compile well )
error message I get is "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: xml/sax/ext/LexicalHandler"

What I am wondering is that are the release of IBM and Apache for the same xerces.jar out of sync.
If so, when upgrading a paser, when to download it from Apache and when to download it from IBM ?

Also please tell me which version of XML4J parser matches with the Xalan_0_20_0 XSL processor ?

regards,
Abhishek.
