Multi-lingual experiment - a call for actionHi,

I'd like to add another thought to my previous message: maybe the idea of
having one separate DTD or Schema for each language would after all also be
of interest for testing purposes, as you originally suggested. While this
makes it impossible to have one unified test document, it certainly is
helpful to have a one file per language approach here that allows us to test
with arbitrary element and attribute names in different writing systems.

On the other hand, if instead of doing this as a DTD, we try to produce an
XML Schema for it, that will in the end allow us to merge all these
documents into a single XML file, because the new XML Schemas can be applied
only to parts of an XML document, so that in effect one single XML file can
contain all the various example tags plus the corresponding schemas....

Subject: Multi-lingual experiment - a call for action

Hi,
I am proposing a group effort to create a multi-lingual document so that we
can concretely see what is a multi-lingual document instead of talking about
the subject in the abstract.
