> Are there any DTDs/Schemas available for Genealogical data?

A while ago I published a thing called GedML which is a direct translation
into XML of the well-established and much-criticized GEDCOM data model. It's
currently in a broken state on my web site, I get about two enquiries a week
about it, but it's taking longer to get fixed than my garden fence, and has
about the same degree of urgency. Meanwhile I used it in one of the worked
examples in Chapter 9 of my XSLT book.
