And I just did a simple project: create a COM object with VC++/ATL3.0 - this
object provides 3 methods to browse, add and delete from one of table in my
local SQL server through OLEDB, and use SOAP SDK wizard to generate source
file for this COM object ( ASP and relative XML ), then set up the local web
server Virtual Directory, now the data in my local table is available as XML
format through web and ready to publish - surely it can reda from another
machine as XML format, totaly take me 30 minutes ( set up DB, write COM
object and generate SOAP code ....), very cool tuff.
