o The FPI for the DTD or schema so a record of 
authority is established. 

o A version for the DTD or URN and physical location 
of the ROA such that copies can be authenticated

o A citation of the acceptance tests for the 
product to be used so that a testing authority 
can be established.

How one uses acceptance and validation testing depends 
on where one is in the delivery schedule.  It is 
important to think about these tools and 
products in context of an event schedule where events 
are typed and well-performed.  Testing must be able 
to roll back, roll forward, etc.

Reliability is the key issue for component systems.

SGML was developed in order to clarify where responsibility for
correcting errors belongs: receivers can acceptence test the data. XML
inherits this.

For contracts, you should specify the validation tool for acceptance
testing.
