TriXML, the Triangle North Carolina XML Interest Group, will meet Tuesday
September 12th at
5:30pm at its NEW location - VERITAS Software in Research Triangle Park!

We are pleased to have Chuck Allen of The HR-XML Consortium speak to the
group (details below). TriXML meets every second tuesday of the month, 5:30
pm, at VERITAS Software in RTP.  For more information on the group and

ABSTRACT:
On Sept. 12, Chuck Allen will give a presentation to Tri-XML on 
the work of the HR-XML Consortium. The HR-XML Consortium is 
an independent, non-profit association dedicated to the
development and promotion of a standard suite of XML 
specifications to enable e-commerce and the automation of 
human resources-related data exchanges. With more than 90
organizational members and hundreds of individual, associate
members, HR-XML is one of the largest and best-supported
industry-specific XML standards bodies (see http://www.hr-xml.org )
Chuck will review the history and mission of the Consortium
and its current activities and methodology.

BIOGRAPHICAL:
Chuck Allen is the founder and director of the HR-XML 
Consortium, Inc. and president of Structured Methods.
Previously, Chuck was Director, New Product Development 
for the RIA Group's Human Resource product group and worked 
in similar product development roles for other major HR 
publishing companies.

LOCATION:
A venue change for TriXML!  TriXML will now be meeting at VERITAS Software,
located in the Research Triangle Park.  Our thanks to Glaxo-Wellcome for
hosting us for so long.  Please remember to come to VERITAS , located as
follows:

VERITAS Software, 2530 Meridian Parkway, in Research Triangle Park. The
Meridian Business Park is off of Highway 55, near its intersection with
Interstate 40. 
From I-40, take exit 278. At the bottom of the exit, turn LEFT onto Highway
55. 
   Turn left at the next light onto Meridian Parkway. 
   Travel approximately one-half mile, to building 2530 on the RIGHT. 
   Turn RIGHT, and park in the back. VERITAS is on the first floor. 
   Go to the Blue Ridge Conference Room.
