TriXML, the XML interest group for the triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, and
Chapel Hill, NC - USA), will meet Tuesday November 14th at 5:30pm. We are
pleased to have Roger Cummings of VERITAS speak to the group (details
below). TriXML meets every second Tuesday of the month, 5:30 pm. For more

Abstract: Storage Management using XML
Roger Cummings will discuss an XML standard interface to SCSI, and his work
in standards work with the T10 committee of ANSI.
Biographical:
Roger Cummings joined VERITAS in April 2000 after 4 years with Adaptec/DPT.
He previously held Senior Architect positions at StorageTek and Control
Data. He chaired the NCITS T11 (HIPPI & Fibre Channel) committee from
1993-8, served on the steering committee of the I2O SIG, and is active in
SNIA, IP Storage & Infiniband.
The meeting is free and open to anyone, however we ask that you please RSVP
