To follow-up to my own message: I've just read that the following
characters are declared special in XML 1.0: <,>,&, and '
My parser is choking on a document, which has a ':' in it. Can I
count out the problem being because of the ':'?
Thanks again,
James

Subject: escaping characters
Hey all:
I'm working with a parser that is getting tripped up with a '&' is
is being passed in a desc. field.
Might anyone have a link/reference that explains which characters
should be handled as "special" and how to best escape them?
Thanks in advance,
James
