Why was XML was adopted? To
give anarchists a safe sandbox so the
rest of the world could get on with the

Uh, Len - 404 Not Found. No central storage. Tolerance for a wide variety
of media types, plus a frequently and easily extended transfer
protocol. (Lots of added headings.)
Plenty of anarchy, if you care to acknowledge it. It's still there, as
well. Probably more now than before.
