webMethods' XML Schema for XSLT 1.0



webMethods is pleased to announce the availability of an experimental
version of XML Schema for XSLT 1.0 More information on XSLT can be found at
http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt

There are two URLs,
[1] http://www.webmethods.com/1999/XSL/Transform is the latest version of
XML Schema for XSLT 1.0 This schema is subject to change and will contain
the schema using the current syntax, Proposed Recommendation (PR) or
Recommendation XML Schema Definition Language (XSDL). We plan to update this
schema using PR XSDL ASAP.

[2] http://www.webmethods.com/1999/XSL/Transform/Using-XSDL-FromCR is an
immutable version of the XML Schema for XSLT 1.0 using Candidate
Recommendation XSDL.

How to use this schema?

[Option 1] Import schema for XSLT 1.0 into your schema using 'import'
element,

<xsd:import namespace="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    schemaLocation="http://www.webmethods.com/1999/XSL/Transform"/>

[Option 2] Use schema for XSLT 1.0 in explicitly declared stylesheet
documents,

<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
   xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2000/10/XMLSchema-instance"
   version="1.0"
   xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform
    http://www.webmethods.com/1999/XSL/Transform">

 ...

</xsl:stylesheet>

[Option 3] Use schema for XSLT 1.0 in implicitly declared stylesheet
documents,

<html xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    xsl:version="1.0"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2000/10/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform
     http://www.webmethods.com/1999/XSL/Transform">

       <xsl:text> Email: </xsl:text</html>
 ..

</html>

[Option 4] Download a copy of XML Schema for XSLT using one of these URLs
and use it locally
