More importantly, in that talent is the
cure for elitism, the "we is us" and
"they is them" mentality. It is not
institutions that are "humble"; it
is people. In their capacity to
see that every player brings some
talent, but also only some have
enough to play a good solo, both
learning and performance are equally
satisfied.
People first. Institutions are
just PUBLIC names. :-)

Yes, she knows how to help you recognize the best things that you can bring
to the table, and to gain appreciation for offering them. Working with
Lauren was a pleasure.
