RE: Document Object Model (DOM) Level 3 XPath Specification



Its good to see this enhancement to DOM, which should reduce the amount
of code needed to navigate through an XML document. One question: In the
XPathEvaluator, a NamespaceResolver must be passed as an argument in
every method. Why is this necessary? Could there not be a
setNamespaceResolver() method on the XPathEvaluator class, so you only
have to do it once, or better still have this complexity taken care of
by the implementation?
