[xml-dev] Let's get real on W3C XForms 1.0 (why it stinks, today)

Folks,
had enough of esoteric W3C rants - let's get real:
XForms 1.0 is the next big thing to come out of
the W3C.
Grab the spec [1], eat it, and tell the W3C XForms
Working Group why it sucks. Do it now, on this list,
not in a year when everything is set in stone.
I'm serious: XForms is one of the last high-profile
W3C projects in the pipe and a major part of XHTML 2.
XForms will be bigger than XSLT.
Now is the time to take it apart.
I don't want to sit on this list later and have
people tell me that they always knew it and of course
the W3C did the same "mistakes" again...
Avoiding a *serious* debate on XForms until it is too
late and then bashing it - always the more comfortable
option as it seems.
Let's play ball on XForms - the audience is listening,
- Sebastian
