The call for speakers for NEXTWARE Spring 2002 closes in 14 days.

May 20-23, 2002
Baltimore Convention Center
NEXTWARE is a conference about next-generation software with a focus on XML,
Web services, and enabling technologies. If you'd like to share your
expertise with this community, you'll be in excellent company (Jonathan
Robie, Tommie Usdin, Uche Ogbuji, Ron Bourret, Paul Cotton, Jim Melton, Bob
Sutor, JP Morgenthal and others) .
The call for speakers deadline is November 9. Here's the process for
submitting a proposal:
1. At www.speakerforums.com, look for NEXTWARE Spring 2002
2. Click on "View the Curriculum Sketch". Note the tracks.
3. To submit a proposal, click on "Submit your proposal for NEXTWARE Spring
2002".
4. After you enter a session proposal, you should receive an e-mail
acknowledgement with the details of what you entered.
5. Please send me a copy of the acknowledgement.
We're interested in technical presentations on the technologies and/or
business implications of/about web services, integration technologies, the
semantic web, .NET, wireless technologies, databases, e-business, exchanges,
portals, EAI, m-commerce, Java programming, topic maps, document design,
modeling, transaction processing, middleware, business intelligence, data
warehousing, data mining, web site development techniques, SQL techniques,
SOAP, WSDL, WSCM, WSFL, web services choreography, edge services and data
access. We are also interested in presentations about XML-related
technologies and specifications such as DOM, SAX, SQLX, VoiceXML, SMIL, XML
Protocol, RDF, XQuery, RDDL, XLink, Schema, and so on.
The conference is organized in seven tracks of classes, with five tracks for
develoeprs:
Core (APIs, Specifications, Technologies, Techniques)
Integration (eBusiness, Portals Applied XML)
Modeling, Metadata, Query, Databases
Messaging, Wireless, Voice
Collaboration, Servers and Middleware
Experiences and Opportunities
Market Dynamics
Remember -- the deadline for proposals is two weeks from today.
