RE: [xml-dev] SS Scripting vs XSL

[ Lists Home | Date Index | Thread Index ]

I find XSL very useful. It allows me to create generic objects where I can
only pass a XML document and transform that document with an XSL document.
This way I do not have to worry about the specifics of the document. The
details of each document will be defined within the XSL document.

I use is for data transfer, redering html and email documents.

I hope that helps.

Subject: [xml-dev] SS Scripting vs XSL

I'm curious ... What is the benefit of using XSL when you could parse
and display XML using a server side scripting language like jsp or

Additionally, I'm looking for resources about common technical setups
for serving XML documents.
