I think you must encounter a different group of "actual programmers" than I do.

Sadly, this is more than mere "angst", but it's probably what I deserve for
attempting to present an explanation of namespaces in more than one minute
but less than a day. (Less than an hour, in one case.) These problems are
easier when the actual programmers sit in the same room, perhaps, but I
have a hard time recommending that as a general solution.
