I don't know. There is no reason not to change it, but so far I've had
no reason to change it either.

Not behind the scenes, really. You document your support for the infoset,
or your requirement for an infoset if you are a consumer, by saying
"I provide/need such-and-such info items with such-and-such properties."

No. The infoset operates on the ESIS level, with minor differences.
