One wonders what happened to the source code. Seems
to be an issue for many products that get a good run
and then fall off the bandwagon. There are at least
two VRML editors for which having the source would
be useful to some people. I do wonder if companies
holding such assets simply put them in vaults and forget
about them, or keep up just enough market smarts to
dust them off and sell them or repurpose them.

open text probably has the entire set of source.. although some part of this
may have forked off into Corel as they packaged at least one version of N&FD
with their wordperfect/sgml version.
i offered to take over the source for $1 .. wasn't taken seriously... and
managers from microstar suggested i would be better off starting from
scratch... a task i haven't seriously got around to yet.
cheers...hugh
