Yes, and to summarise all what's been said this proposal, the main
criticism is that it isn't a "fallback behaviour for references to
undeclared entities with standard names" but a "filter through behaviour
for references to HTML and MathML entities".
This does add an extra layer of processing and is likely to collide with
defined entities (what if I have defined a "nbsp" -standing for number
of spaces" entity as "7" in my DTD?).
I am wondering if utf-8+names is really better than continuing to advise
people who want to use these entities to include a DTD reference.
