Hmmm... I misread that too.

I don't think there are any paths without obstacles here.
Maybe we should have some kind of entity-processing bake-off, where
developers can implement and show off their various tools? (Preferably
in public, not at a sort-of-concealed W3C event.)
I've been working on such a toolkit (and put up a poster at Extreme),
but have not had time to focus on code. Some notion of common purpose or
a deadline might help get a lot of us motivated.
