Like I said, I don't have anything particularly new to add here.
I was just trying to make sure I understood the most common 
RSS/likely-Atom errors actually are.

My comment about "use base64" doesn't seem to address those.  I wasn't 
thinking of any of the items you listed, but rather the ones that happen 
when you take on other content, as in Mark's post.
