Apparently yes.
No idea what stats if any, are available.

IMHO overkill. The feed readers can (mostly ) sort out the mess
of receiving 3 different formats.
(Just don't use escaped content :-)

IMHO you'll get terrific bias on most sites :0)

Pick a format and abide with it.... for the time being.
Others might appreciate it when processing
if you produce valid XML,
then when fashions change its easier to process.
