Atom isn't finished yet, but definitely be prepared - long term this
/should/ be the obvious answer.
Best practice now would suggest 1.0 as the most interoperable, tightest
spec'ed.
Mass appeal would suggest 0.91 - some stats at :

Of course not - just use RSS 1.0 until Atom is ready and steer clear of
quasi-proprietary toy specs ;-)

It wouldn't hurt. But again, longer term a single Atom feed should be
enough.
