It's a really bad idea to ask this question to people who have egos
wrapped up in pushing their own pet specs. Ask for customers and
customer testimonials instead.
RSS 2.0 is being used by New York Times, Microsoft, and many other
"real" organizations to provide feeds to the masses. It's the safest
choice, IMO.
One thing to be aware of if using RSS 1.0 is that most people don't use
clients which actually support RDF (the underlying format) and "muddle
along" to parse RSS 1.0 feeds. This means that the clients will die on
things that might be perfectly legitimate RSS 1.0/RDF, so the only way
to ensure interop is to test your feed with every client rather than
rely on the RDF specs.
