So fight fire with water or more fire?
A call for arms means show up armed. If
proprietary patents are met with open patents,
after a time, the fires will go out. If patents
are lucrative and tradable, we'll go for them.
Smarter players are collecting them by domains
into protected preserves, then liasing with
other collectors with compatible policies.
The probability is that many will attempt to
solve the problem with their posteriors
instead of the smarter end of their assets.

"...manage them the way *wildfire*..."
