" A Great Line
Up Of Speakers " ------------------------------- This, is the opinion
voiced in Rick Jelliffe's blog (http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/wlg/5334) - Rick is giving an opening
keynote intriguingly entitled "Motive and Method" which precedes
two carefully-balanced conference tracks, packed with renowned
experts presenting on hot topics: * Dave Beckett on RDF * Michael Kay
on XSLT and XSD Schemas * Sean McGrath on XML Pipelining * Uche Ogbuji on
Python and XML * Jeni Tennison on XML Data Types ... see the full
programme at http://xmlopen.org/programme.html.
Opening Keynote
Announced ------------------------------ We are proud to announce that the
opening keynote will be given by Uche Ogbuji, on "XML meets Open Source meets
Business". Uche's talk will bring together the three main strands of the
event: open standards, open technical implementations, and the business and
practical considerations surrounding them.
Can't Take Two-And-A-Half
Days? Get A Day
Pass ------------------------------------------------------ We have made a
day pass available for those too busy to attend the whole event. This is
priced at £185 + VAT and will allow access to any one of the conference
days. To get one, enter the text DAYPASS into the field on the registration
form labelled 'Reason for concession (or code)'. The correct ticket type
and price will then appear on the subsequent payment page.
New Ways To
Pay ------------------- Online registration can be found at http://xmlopen.org/registration.html. Following feedback from registrants on PayPal
(love it or hate it), we have added the option of conventional credit-card
payment, as well as payment by cheque or govt. purchase order. Remember,
tickets are allocated on a strictly first-come, first-served basis - so
register today to avoid disappointment.
