1) Altova Announces General Availability of 2005 Product Line

-------------------------------------------------------------

Altova announces General Availability of version 2005 of its entire product
line, which includes end-to-end support of the W3C's important forthcoming
XSLT 2.0, XPath 2.0, and XQuery specifications. Many other new features have
also been added to Altova's applications, including automated function
building, Eclipse integration, relational database content editing, and the
revolutionary SchemaAgent that enables visual management of complex schemas
and their components in workgroups.

XMLSpy 2005, MapForce 2005, StyleVision 2005, and Authentic 2005 are
immediately available for download and FREE 30-day evaluation at:
http://www.altova.com/download; and for purchase via the Altova Online Shop
at: http://www.altova.com/order. Existing Altova customers with a valid
Altova Support and Maintenance Package (SMP) are eligible for a free upgrade
to version 2005 production software.

2) Want a FREE Apple iPod?

--------------------------

While supplies last, you'll get a free 20GB Apple iPod with every purchase
of the Altova Enterprise XML Suite plus the one or two year Altova Support
and Maintenance Package (SMP) from Altova or its subsidiaries. So, for
example, if you purchase a five pack of licenses for your development team,
you'll receive five free iPods - one for each new user on your team! Certain
export limitations and legal restrictions apply. See
http://www.altova.com/ipod_promo.html for details.

The Altova Enterprise XML Suite 2005 includes Enterprise Editions of XMLSpy
2005, MapForce 2005, and StyleVision 2005 - the three best selling XML
development tools on the market. The suite delivers all the capabilities of
the individually purchased products, but at a considerable savings. For more
details about the suite and its pricing benefits, visit:
http://www.altova.com/suite.html.

Altova SMP provides free major software updates, maintenance releases, and
priority technical support for the duration of the support period. Please
see our SMP page for more details at:
http://www.altova.com/support_package.html.

We bought 500 iPods to give away during this holiday promotion, but demand
is expected to be very high, so don't delay! Once they're gone, this offer
must end. To place your order, visit the Altova Online Shop at:
http://shop.altova.com.
